Deciphering Cloud Computing

Peter was an elementary one student. He saw people on TV talking about Cloud Computing. He asked his father, 'in the case of cloud computing, were the computers installed on the clouds in the sky?'
His father said,'The computers were not on the clouds.'
Peter asked, 'Why did they say Cloud Computing then?'

Jason was a computer engineer. He used to work for IBM and HP. He was a computer expert especially Unix server. Jason had an accident in 2000 and was in coma since then. Jason woke up suddenly in 2019. He realized he had been in coma for 19 years. He watched TV and people were talking about Cloud Computing. He thought there must had been major break through in computing technology. He thought quantum computers could be commercialized now and all the quantum computers were installed in the sky. That was the reason they called them Cloud Computing.

Dave worked in the marketing department of an US network company. The compony wanted to launch some server side applications. They needed some creative names for the server side solutions. Dave's boss Tom asked Tom to work on the creative names. They had to present the names to the CEO the next day.
Dave thought about a few names, such as Server computing, Network Computing, Virtual Computing, ...
The next day, Dave went to the conference room to set up the presentation. He projected the following diagram on the screen of the conference room.

A few minutes later, Dave's boss came to the conference room. They waited for the CEO for the meeting.
The CEO stormed into the conference in ten minutes. He saw the diagram on the screen. 'Let's me guess. It must be Could Computing.'
Dave hesitated for one second and thought about how to respond. Tom, Dave's boss, saw Dave was hesitating. He jumped in and said, 'Of course, it was Could Computing.'
